Split Dodging / opaque double ended tool, large
Useful in controlling contrast while you dodge. Sized for, medium to large areas on 11x14 and 16x20 prints. Includes a wooden handle, and a thin stiff wire support for the paddles which reduces the chance of making a shadow line while dodging. I make split dodging tools with Ilford variable contrast filter stock in either High 5+ or low 00 filtration. Unlike opaque tools you (print through) split dodging tools. Keeping the filter clean and scratch free is important. Double ended tools come with a wooden wall or shelf, mounting bracket to keep then from being layed down on the counter and a protective cover for the paddle. Paddle size, 3/12 L x 4 w inches and 3 1/2 L x 3 1/2 w inches for the opaque end.
